5 Signs Your Cat Loves You
Many cat owners love their cats very much, but do you know how much your cat loves you? Here are five signs your cat loves you.
Sign 1: The “Tool Man” Who Feeds
Cats will be relatively aloof at first. If you bring a cat home, most cats will only treat you as a “tool person” to feed them. In its eyes, you may be just a provider or a subordinate, and it will not get close to you.
Sign 2: Start Contacting You Proactively
When the cat comes home and spends some time with its owner, the cat will become interested in you, slowly accept you, feel that you will not cause harm, and start to contact you proactively. But most of the time, cats still like to play alone.
Sign 3: Give You A Gift
At this level, cats like you and treat you as their owner. They often pick up some strange things in their mouths, such as toys, leaves, bugs, etc., and then give them to you.
This is a very valuable “gift” in the cat’s eyes. The owner should accept it obediently and remember to reward the cat with some delicious freeze-dried snacks as a return gift.
Sign 4: Kiss or Hug
When a cat gets along with its owner for a long time, it will become very familiar with the owner. They like to follow their owners and wait for them to come home. When they see their owners come home, they will kiss and hug them. Sometimes, they will even follow their owners out. It will express reluctance, dependence, and a desire for someone to follow.
Sign 5: Treat You As Your “Biological Father And Mother.”
This is the highest state of a cat’s love for its owner. They regard you not only as their owner but also as their “mom and dad” in the cat’s eyes. Cats will be very dependent on you and like to step on your breasts, act coquettishly, and listen to your words.
As long as the owner treats the cat sincerely and shows love, the cat will feel it. Since you choose to keep a cat, you are responsible for it.
